Thanks for the feedback. Attaching pictures to your post is not a problem. One of the post buttons (Img) allow you to do this. It uses the following code: Here's a working example: http://www.manuelsweb.com/images/banners/1_32FAbanner.png Having said that...

Send Your Pics/ Possible Photo Gallery

I've noticed a few people have posted their pics at Classmate. That's great. I went through some pictures and was able to spot members of my battalion some 20 years ago. I'd like to have a picture gallery here as well. A few things I don't like about Classmate is 1) the cost. You'd think with all th...

Re: nicknames we earned while in the army

okay... i think i got the killercozmo nickname because i had a trs 80 model IV computer in my room at the billets and i was doing a graphic of a lance missile and a mushroom cloud. TRS 80? Good grief! Someone in C-Btry 1/32 bought an Apple in 1986. He was the only one I knew of in the Battalion wit...

Welcome back! Let me know if you have any problems with the new board. I know the old one was causing problems. PS: Check if Yahoo is marking message notifications as spam and placing them in the "Bulk" folder. If so, open the message and click the "Not Spam" button.

Old Message Board Has Moved

The old message board has been taken down and archived. You can still read it except it's at a new location: http://manuelsweb.com/lance/archive/directory01.htm I've added a search feature to help find messages you're interested in. The messages themselves were copy and pasted from the old board how...

Apologies

First, I would like to offer apologies to T. Bennett and J. Lamphere. It appears I over reacted in believing the reunion was a hoax. I should have kept myself informed on the event (which I didn't). I've read and reread messages on the old board which leads be to believe I've made a mistake (yes, I ...

An engineer who worked on the Lance once wrote me to comment on the site. If the information's out there I haven't seen it. I've scoured Google for as many Lance sites I could find. If you find anything let me know and I'll link to it.

The some of the officer's names sound familiar. I couldn't remember Cpt Ross until you mentioned him--his appearance and voice popped back into my mind. Both the CWs sound familiar so do Moller, Windsor, and Schmick. I'd love seeing your photos. I was thinking of creating an online scrapbook of memb...

I have decided not to try and head up a possible reunion at White Sands, don't want to cause any friction. I won't discourage someone interested in organizing a reunion. I think it would be beneficial for everyone to hear the proposed plan details first; reunion location, activities, and arrangemen...

Honest John Videos

I've been going through the old message board and noticed many of you have been using youtube long before I got around to it. I'm posting Department of Defense videos of the Honest John missile. They help illustrate how the Lance was used in combat. http://www.manuelsweb.com/images/lance/honest_john...

John Williams kind of took the lead on the reunion, he might be the one to contact. I did email John Williams. That's what raised my suspicion in the first place. I have no objections to polling member's interest in a reunion however any planning and implementation on this site must meet the approv...

Re: Reunion

John P. Lamphere wrote:Trust me I was there.
Travis Bennett wrote:The reunion happened.
I would love to believe it happened. I still find it hard to believe 40 plus veterans, not including their guests, would not post pictures or reminisce about the event on the Internet. Neither of you knows who went?
